The party finds a fissure in the ashen remains of a rolling forest which is where the Quickling told them to meet with the rest of his party. They overhear a conversation where an Eladrin woman is expressing her belief that she was in error to choose this group to accomplish her aims. The rest of the group insists that the Quickling will return. The party uses this opportunity to sneak attack the Eladrin woman who is clearly the employer of the rest of the group. Several of the group hit her, and Gunter is able to teleport her up to the rest of the party. The Quickling follows closely behind, scurrying up the walls with ease. Gunter knocks out the Eladrin who is revealed to be a Night Hag. Gunter convinces the Formorian that his kin should be avenged, so the Formorian demolishes the Quickling.

The Fomorian is convinced to "kill them all" and asks the party if they want to fight ghouls or cyclopes. The cyclopes are described as being "smart" so the party chooses to fight the ghouls. After a difficult fight, all of the party members and the Fomorian survive the fight, but much of their healing has been depleted. Kayla steals a magic burial shroud and then the group moves on to find the moon shadows, Bodaks and an Eladrin man in a cavern further down the line. The group defeats the Eladrin man, causing the moon spirits to dissipate and the Bodaks to retreat. The Fomorian was knocked out in the battle, but the party brings him back to consciousness.

After the war with the Shatterkai, this Eladrin decided to try to destroy other Eladrin because he believes that they are weak because they did not fight actively against the Shatterkai. The Formorian agrees to join with the Eladrin, and is able to convince several cyclopes to join them (2 storm shaman and 3 cyclops impalers). They agree to return to the Eladrin to plan out the next steps in bringing down the anti-Eladrin forces.

Shelby convinces the Eladrin to accept the Formorian and Cyclopes, and warns them that this Formorian is the brother to the other. She brings the elders of the village together with the monsters with Gunter translating so that they can exchange information. Darwin returns the Autumn Wind totem that she retrieved from the body of the "evil" Eladrin. Each party member is given 2 potions of regeneration by the village. The burial shroud is identified as a Shroud of Revival which can be laid on an unconscious ally to assist them in avoiding death and protecting them from further harm.

The Fomorian and Cyclopes offer to accompany the party to the location where they can be transitioned from the Fey Wild into the Yaunti stronghold. 6,000 residium will be needed to return the party and Jelenith from the Yaunti keep to a safe location.
