Peripatos

Many in the Civilized Lands have heard the name Peripatos. Few have had the privilege of reading one of his works. But none have ever seen him. Speculation as to his identity is a hotly debated topic in academic circles. Some believe he is a nothing more than a secret association of philosophers and storytellers. Some believe he is a powerful wizard, living just outside our world. Some believe he is a time-traveler, researching and commenting on his own past. Still others believe he is a god, informative and secretive in equal measure. Whatever the truth, one fact is undisputed. Books in his signature handwriting have been turning up in varied locations for all of recorded history, all signed in the same fashion: Peripatos - Chronicler, Philosopher, Seer out-of-time.
