The party stocks up on supplies and pick up a dose of poison from Aldrea and Marzolo. They decide to enter the dream state to do recon on the minotaur's lair and try to convince him to leave. As they begin their travels to approach the lair, Kayla notices that the vegetation in the jungle is getting duller and some of the nuts and fruit is rotting on the tree. Kayla reaches out to the Weldon that night in the dream state and asks the scouts to look for signs of corruption near the garrison. The party brings the Michanoids some "treats" and stay with them as they enter the dream state to scout out the minotaur. Gunter and Shelby stay behind to guard their companions while they perform the recon. When they awakened, they drew a map of the complex including what appears to be the main lair which was fully lined in rage stone. They also pass on the information they've gained to the Michonians.

The party (with the exception of Gunter) and the eladrin enter the dream state again. They get to the main room in the lair and Darwyn attempts to calm the eladrin by giving them tea and having Shelby say a few encouraging words. The presence of all of the rage stone may be inhibiting their ability to remain calm. The party ends up waking up after they realize that the pedestal is not a portal, but rather a tomb for the minotaur's eladrin.

The party leaves the eladrin women with the michanoids and go off to defeat the minotaur. They are successful and find the eladrin's corpse under the pedestal and several magic items. They return to the michanoids and the eladrin women allow them to keep the magic items. The corpse is placed in the bag of holding for transport to the fey wild.
